Material Selection: Common materials for residential septic systems include PVC (cold water lines), PEX, copper, CPVC, SDR (hot and cold water), and ABS (wastewater).
For commercial or industrial systems, cast iron or stainless steel pipes are often used to handle large volumes of wastewater.
